Lemon Law Text     What if the Lemon Law Does Not Apply?

QUALIFICATION: 4 unsuccessful repairs or 30 calendar days out of service within shorter of 1 year or 15,000 miles.

NOTIFICATION/TRIGGER:  Report to dealer or manufacturer who has 7 days for final repair opportunity. (Manufacturer's informal arbitration process serves as prerequisite to consumer refund or replacement.) Law specifically applies to leased vehicles.


What if the Rhode Island Lemon Law Does Not Apply?
If the defects with your vehicle do not meet the requirements of the Lemon Law, you may have claims under other state and federal laws that protect owners of new or used vehicles.

These laws cover motor vehicles,  cars,  trucks,  vans,  semis,  motor homes,  campers,  boats,  jet-skis,  motorcycles,  recreational vehicles,   and other consumer products.
